Paul Simon Sings The Sound of Silence – 9-11 Ground Zero

Famed guitarist and musician Paul Simon sang his classic “The Sound of Silence” at the 9-11 Ground Zero Memorial just two hours ago in New York City.

Ten years ago today, the United States was the victim of a crime of massive proportions. Four airplanes were directed at The World Trade Center in New York City, and The White House, and The Pentagon in Washington DC.

Today, the 9-11 Memorial, built out of the remaining holes where the twin towers of The World Trade Center once stood tall, has officially opened.

Later today, President Obama will arrive for a special ceremony.
