Whatever reputation former Governor Mitt Romney had for being “robotic” was cemented Tuesday with an awful presentation of his plan for the American Economy. This blogger watched, as Romney’s presentation was roundly panned on Twitter, and indeed he seemed to realize at one point that he could have done better.

And that was as he was making the presentation.

Romney’s problem with his jobs presentation was both style-based and substance-based. As to substance, there was none – just a combination of the same tired tax rate decrease talk, coupled with steps that are little more than an attempt to jab at President Obama, rather than offer real help for the American Economy.

When the first economic plan is to repeal the Health Care Act, you know you’re listening to some kind of bad joke. And when you’re listening to a plan that says nothing about subsidizing American wage levels to rduce overall costs, you know the plan’s a turkey, right off.

It’s no wonder Twitter was filled with tweets like these:

Mitt Romney uses hair gel and wears cheap suits. That’s all I really need to know.

Mitt Romney used a SmartPhone metaphor to mock Pres Obama’s still unheard jobs speech. Maybe during tonite’s debate he’ll compare VHS to DVR

Something tells me this is all going to come back to haunt Mitt.

Stay tuned.
