At first that Chick-Fil-A would be at the top of Google Trends as of this writing would come as a surprise, but when you stop and consider the wave of foreclosures out here in the Atlanta Suburbs, where this blogger’s blogging from right now, it’s not a shock at all.
Chick-Fil-A, a chain foreign to the San Francisco Bay Area (you have to drive way out to Fairfield, CA to see one) for some weird reason not known to me, is offering a free Chick-Fil-A breakfast from Sepember 6th to September 10th during what is calls “breakfast hours” or from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
But you have to visit Chick-Fil-A today to reserve your free breakfast.
The interest in that offer, coupled with the population’s constant search for free deals, has pushed “Chick Fil A” to the number one Google Trend as of this writing.
But what really interests this blogger is the annual Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. This one, pits The Boise State Broncos against the Georgia Bulldogs in what’s shaping up to be an epic start to the 2011 College Football Season, this Saturday at The Georgia Dome in Atlanta at 1:30 PM.
Since I’m scheduled to cover Dragon Con – Atlanta’s answer to Comic Con – it looks like I’m going to miss that game, and be out of town for the Fresno State vs. Cal game at Candlestick Park.
But don’t let me stop you from getting your tickets to the Georgia Dome pre-game celebration at the Georgia World Congress Center.
