FIFA: Syria Disqualified

Bad news for Syria as their hopes and dreams of making it to Brazil ended August 19 when they were disqualified. This is because of allowing an ineligible player in their round two first game back on July 23ed and game two on the 28th. In both games Syria beat Tajikistan. It now will be a 3-0 win for Tajikistan and a forfeit for Syria. These decisions are final and cannot be overturned.

So what does this mean for the world cup? Tajikistan will now be playing in Group C. they will now have to play teams: Japan, Korea DPR, and Uzbekistan. All three teams are higher ranking.

Tajikistan first game will be against Uzbekistan witch is ranked 83 whereas Tajikistan is ranked 142 Syria was ranked 104 and will not be happy with this result. In the last 5 games between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan went as followed 2 draws 2 wins for Uzbekistan. There where also been 16 goals 10 for Uzbekistan and 6 for Tajikistan the game is
scolded for September 2nd. The venue has yet to be determined.

No matter what, I truly think Japan will have no trouble in this group
and can’t wait to see the upcoming games on September 2.

As always thank you fifa.com and video of: Syria vs Tajikistan
