T Paw: Race Claims First Victim

Despite coming in third place in the Straw Polls yesterday, former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty has dropped out of the race.

The Associated Press reports:

” “I wish it would have been different. But obviously the pathway forward for me doesn’t really exist so we are going to end the campaign,” Pawlenty said on ABC’s “This Week” from Iowa shortly after disclosing his plans in a private conference call with supporters. “

Pawlenty has not yet endorsed another candidate, but we can assume that he won’t be endorsing Michele Bachmann, especially after the banter between the two of them at Thursday night’s debate.
