Another great day for soccer fans; 30 teams from Asia competed in the second leg of round 2. There were some teams that performed great others not so much. Fun fact for you no team that played in one round made it out of round two.
I myself found a great steam a got to watch some great games such as the Philippines vs. Kuwait and Malaysia vs. Singapore and what I call the swamp game which was India and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In total 15 teams made it out alive. China, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, UAE and Uzbekistan will move on to round 3, where they will meet the remaining 5 teams that received buys in the first two rounds.
Now we won’t know who plays who in round 3 till the 30th when the Preliminary Draw. I don’t know if it will be on TV but the draw is to be held at 3pm Rio time which means 2pm east coast time.
As always thank you FIFA.com and video of Hong Kong vs. Saudi Arabia July 23rd the last goal is a great set piece.
