Comic Con 2011 is just six days away and the excitement is building for what will be the best Comic Con, yet. This is the second year for Zennie62 at Comic Con, and this time the media effort is aided by Tout.
If you remember when Shaq announced his retirement, he did so using a 15 second video – one on a platform called Tout. I describe Tout as a cross between YouTube and Twitter, and with 3 more seconds than the famous, now passed on startup company 12 seconds, it’s possible to make micro-video-blogs, and that’s what I will be doing using Tout at Comic Con.

What am I looking forward to at Comic Con 2011, San Diego? In a word, everything.
While I’m looking forward to seeing Comic Book legends like MAD Magazine’s Sergio Aragones, who I met at Wonder Con, I’m really looking forward to the parties, and events like the Shatnerpalooza, where William Shatner will join Kevin Smith and Avery Brooks (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) on July 22nd for what should be an interesting panel conversation.
Then, the real surprises are what’s going to happen in Hall H. The schedule for the room doesn’t seem to overwhelm this year, but there are interesting tags like one that just reads “20th Century Fox” for the 3 PM Thursday time slot.
I’m going to guess that panel is for the upcoming movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes, August 5th, but there’s speculation Avatar Director James Cameron may pay a visit as well.
Beyond Hall H, I also enjoy the graphic novel publishers like BOOM Studios (without Stan Lee) and
I’m also looking forward to meeting MMA Star Gina Carano, and Director Stephen Soderberg as they talk about their new action thriller Haywire, as well as the critically-acclaimed movie Bellflower.
