Twilight won the majority of the awards last night on the MTV Movie Awards; which made the award show painful to watch.
It was just like the Video Music Awards on MTV back in the fall where Lady Gaga won the majority of the awards.
It seems like the Twilight fans are so in love with Twilight that even if another movie is better it doesn’t matter, because they are so dedicated to Twilight that it doesn’t matter if any other movie did a better job – Twilight will be the one that they vote for.
Twilight got two nominees for best kiss: Bella and Edward vs Bella and Jacob – Bella and Edward won, but Robert Pattinson decided to go and fake kiss Taylor Lautner:
It was painful, because Inception was definitely more deserving of Movie of the Year than Twilight, and it was disappointing that the award show is more of a joke than anything – and even worse is that MTV’s new show that premiered after the award show is named Teen Wolf; giving into the Twilight obsession.
Poor Harry Potter fans and fans of movies that were actually a lot better.
