AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies Has New Episodes, Comic Book

image004AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies is an excellent period drama based on Alexander Rose’s book Washington’s Spies: that tells the story of the foundations of America’s first secret service and what became the Central Intelligence Agency.

According to an AMC email, A new episode of “TURN: Washington’s Spies” premieres tonight, Monday, April 20 at 10pm ET/PT. Season two of “TURN: Washington’s Spies” dives deeper into the Culper Ring and the twists, turns, victories and betrayals of a shadow war waged behind enemy lines, pitting the cunning agents of King George against the intrepid and inventive spies serving General George Washington. Outnumbered and outgunned on the battlefield, Washington is counting on his ring of young spies and his greatest hope, Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell of The Fantastic Four), a lone civilian deep behind enemy lines, who finds he has little left to lose, and is willing to risk everything he has left… including his soul.

On the tonight’s episode “False Flag” – also written by LaToya Morgan and directed by Allison Anders – Ben sets a trap to capture a traitor in camp, Richard discovers Abe is conspiring with Major Hewlett and Caleb collides with Robert Rogers.

TURN: Washington’s Spies also has a comic book adaptation you can see here.
