Oakland A’s Still Talking To Peralta College Chancellor About Ballpark After Board Announcement
On Saturday night, December 9th 2017, a well-placed source told me that, contrary to the Peralta Community College Board Annoucement, the Oakland Athletics are still talking with Peralta College’ Chancellor Jowel C. Laguerre about the possibility of a ballpark at Laney College.
“Nothing has changed,” I was told. We’re still talking.” That was the word from my source.
For Oakland A’s fans, this is great news. For Oakland politicos who were set against the idea, it’s not good news.
