Oakland Raiders Using Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Roof For Stadium Cam In Wake Of One October

The Oakland Raiders finally have a stadium cam on their website. But, for some reason, the team has elected to put the cam right on the roof of Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort. Yes, the same place that was the site of the horrible event now called One October.

Why not put the Stadium Cam over at Delano? It’s closer. Or why not on one of the closer buildings across Interstate 15?

That was a massive political mistake. And on a day that should be filled with joy in the Raiders Organization. Instead, we get a groundbreaking closed to the public. Pissed off Oakland Raiders Fans. Las Vegas Union workers who are antagonizing would-be minority contractors. And this.

And that’s on top of the problems the Las Vegas Stadium Project already has.

Stay tuned. The Groundbreaking is at 5 PM PST.
