Nick Saban Blasts Paul Finebaum, Defends Cam Robinson In #BlackLivesMatter Moment – Video
Alabama Crimson Tide Head Coach Nick Saban took time at SEC Media Days to defend his star Defensive Tackle Cam Robinson and blast ESPN Commentator Paul Finebaum.
Finebaum tried to take Saban to task for not suspending Robinson and Hootie Jones for getting arrested for gun and drug possession charges. Saban rightly pointed out that the charges were dropped. He also said that he did not care what Finebaum or anyone else thought.
What is missing here is that this was a good police interaction with young black men and law enforcement and in the same region where Philando Castile was killed for having a gun in his possession.
Both Robinson and Castile told the police officers that they had guns. Cam Robinson didn’t get shot; Castile did.
Cam Robinson got the right treatment by a white police officer, but the media doesn’t wan to tell that story. It’s the media that is the problem not America.
