The Working Body fitness gym is now at 399 Grand Avenue in Oakland. It was once at 602 Grand Avenue but found this new space. It’s really an old space: one a Tia Maria restaurant, it sat empty for years because the landlord wanted too much money for it.
In 1989, John Sharon worked to convert it to a farmers market but the landlord would not make a deal he could do. I was Sharon’s client.
