iBeacon Apple has begun certifying devices for the “iBeacon” mark under its MFi (“Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad”) licensing program. According to BEEKn, manufacturers can now apply to use Apple’s iBeacon logo on devices that meet the company’s standards.
