Hope Solo
Hope Solo
Hope Solo’s back in action on Twitter, after an absence of tweets dating back to December 21st. But, and as it happened coinciding with the Seattle Seahawks’ NFC Wild Card Playoff victory over the Washington Redskins, the World’s Best Soccer Goalkeeper and Olympic Gold Medal Member Of The U.S. National Women’s Soccer Team, elected to start tweeting.

The last tweet was this one about Team Nike in December:

And in between, was on TV’s Whitney playing the role of a temptress:

Then, she started tweeting this week, informing us that she spent her New Year’s with her Mom for her 60th Birthday, and spent her Christmas Eve with her Grandma. But – Hope, I have to say – after tweets about her new husband and how they celebrated Thanksgiving, and photos, nothing about him this time.

My guess is either that something went wrong, or she got tired of the bad tweets about him. Let’s hope it’s the later and not the former.

Anyway, I asked Hope if her resurfacing (love that word) had anything to do with the Seahawks, and she responded, which is rare. The last time she did respond to my tweet questions was during her time on Dancing With The Stars, where they were being shitty to her. Anyway, here’s what she tweeted:

Well, it’s great to have her back.

On to CES and NMX.

Stay tuned.
