On October 25th, 2011, a giant downtown Oakland protest at 14th and Broadway turned ugly as Oakland Police and law enforcement officials clashed. The result was that Scott Olsen, a then-24 year old Iraq War Veteran, who was shot in the face by a police officer using a rubber bullet.

Now, one year later and a lot of protests afterward, what’s left of the Occupy Oakland movement is back marching downtown. Here’s the live stream courtesy of PunkBoy Live:
