As explained at The Examiner, SFGate.com website traffic has decreased 44 percent in just two months, or since the termination of the City Brights blogger program.

SFGate.com’s page view traffic has dived from an average ranking of 791 three months ago, to 1,145 today. That’s a drop of 44 percent…But when that’s combined with the 10 percent drop in traffic after SFGate.com’s director blocked this blogger from posting after a series of blog entries on Texas Governor Rick Perry and allegations of a romantic encounter with Texas Secretary of State Geoff Conner in 2005, it totals a decrease of almost 60 percent since the winter of 2011.

Stay tuned.
