More from the Night Of 100 Stars Oscar Party, where I think I set a video record over last year. This time, I met the legendary ex-wife of Tom Cruise, Mimi Rogers, who currently stars on Two And A Half Men on CBS with Ashton Kutcher and John Cryer.
In person, Ms. Rogers is tall and statuesque; quite the queen of the ball and regal in her way. She came with her daughter, who was just taking in all of the media surrounding her famous Mom, and looked like she was having a great time. When I asked Mimi Rogers who she thought would win Best Picture, she proceeded to name all of the nominated films, which I guess was a way of saying she didn’t know. Funny, still.
But her eyes lit up in talking about Two And A Half Men, specifically saying that she loved working with her two co-stars, and has known Cryer for 16 years. For someone who’s in her mid-fifties, Mimi Rogers is in fantastic shape.
Dolph Lundgren On The Expendables 2
I met Dolph Lundgren two years ago, at Comic Con, and for The Expendables red carpet interview session, which was a load of fun. If you’ve not seen my video from that, here it is:
This time, Lundgren says the cast is joined by Chuck Norris, and Jean Claude Van Damme, making this the greatest assembly of action movie heroes ever. He also says the second film is “A little more comedic than the first one. More action.” They filmed for four months in Bulgaria and in Hong Kong. The Expendables 2 will be released this summer.
