The trouble is, Nikky Warner tried to erase the evidence of the Twitter tweet by deleting it. The trouble is that nothing on the Internet really goes away. The proof is in a platform that happened to record hashtags used on Twitter, including #Taken. That led this blogger to @Tanna_24, a Denver woman named Anna Wallingford, who retweeted Warner’s tweet. That sealed the deal.
The fact that Warner deleted the Twitter tweet means there’s a great chance it’s true. Tim Tebow was seen in such a way that observers in the Colorado sports World believed they were dating. Yardbaker had this:
According to a source in Aspen, rumors of the two athletes’ relationship was all the buzz in town when Vonn pulled out of the season opening World Cup slalom event to rest a sore back on November 27th.
That’s not a smoking gun. And the meaning of “dating” has to be clarified, because it reads like Tebow was hunting after a married woman. But in defense of both Tim and the idea that he was dating Vonn, she did go around without her wedding ring and later said that her marriage to Thomas Vonn started to fizzle during the Summer of 2011.
That was around the time of the ESPYs, where she won the award for Best Female Athlete and was presented it by none other than Tim Tebow.
But, Lindsey has said, as recently as last week and a number of publications, she’s not dating anyone, and that wasn’t the reason for her divorce from Thomas Vonn. Maybe she and Tim have become good friends, but then Thomas Vonn did say the divorce and the reasons for it amounted to a “sad sad situation.”
